Pavel Caha

Pavel Caha is the pillar of the nanosyntax community. His dissertation arguing for a fine-grained decomposition of case, both theoretically elegant and typologically impressive, made a splash well beyond the world of nanosyntax. Since then, he has published tirelessly, put grants together, and not least, he was the main architect in bringing together the NanoBrno department.

He has recently been working on comparative adjectives, in collaboration with Karen de Clercq and Guido van den Wyngaerd, and on case-matching in numerals.
